AATA Fee Guidelines | Service Pricing Guidelines for Athletic Therapists

This page provides detailed fee guidelines and examples to help Athletic Therapists understand and set appropriate service charges in alignment with industry standards.

This pay scale generated by the AATA is considered a guideline for all Athletic Therapists working in the province of Alberta. These values will be reviewed and modified if necessary every 6 months in order to maintain a proper salary standard amongst all healthcare practitioners.

Field Work

All field work should be paid, according to a prearranged agreement, or within 30 days following the event.

Hourly Rate

Description: Employment requiring on-site coverage of a sporting event without travel.

Description: Employment requiring event coverage of a sporting event (i.e. tournaments or training camps) with or without travel.
