What inspired you to become an Athletic Therapist?
I wanted to work in the medical field and be in charge of patient care in a hands on way and found AT quite by chance when attending MRC and took the first couple of courses and loved it and have not looked back.
What is the one piece of advice you wish every client knew?
You need to understand your injury in order to understand how to help heal or control it.
What do people find most surprising about AT?
How many ATs have so many different areas of specialization.
Describe your proudest moment or greatest success as an AT
Having each student I supervised pass the National exam or those who I have taught in an AT context pursue AT as a career.
