What inspired you to become an Athletic Therapist?
There's something about the energy of a sporting event, the flow that comes with striving to perform, that I love being a part of. And, I love being able to help folks pursue their dreams.
What is the one piece of advice you wish every client knew?
Prevention is so much better than pain. Wouldn't it be amazing if people sought out care before they started a new activity to ensure their body was prepared.
What do people find most surprising about AT?
That it is a stand alone profession.
Describe your proudest moment or greatest success as an AT
I have been a member of the Canadian core medical team at 3 Pan Am Games, 2 Commonwealth Games and 3 FISU games. It is such an honour to help athletes perform at this level.
