What inspired you to become an Athletic Therapist?
In High School I took a Sport Medicine class and loved learning about the body, and it is in my nature to help people. I also love being active and watching sports.
What is the one piece of advice you wish every client knew?
Stretch before strengthening, and the power of the "W" position to strengthen the back & correct shoulder imbalances.
What do people find most surprising about AT?
That we can treat any type of injury, and they don't have to be an athlete.
Describe your proudest moment or greatest success as an AT
When I teach people a simple stretch or movement that they get the most results from.
